The release of the final DLC expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, called Blood and Wine, is set to happen at the end of this month to bring one last tale of everyone’s favorite Witcher. We learned previously that this expansion would be bigger than the first expansion called Hearts of Stone, but now we’re getting a better idea of just how big thanks to the expansion’s file size.

It was revealed by Gamespot that the file size for Blood and Wine on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is 10-15GB, which is potentially about 3-4 times bigger than Hearts of Stone’s 3.5GB on PS4. The file size for the PC version of the expansion was not revealed, though the file sizes are typically bigger on PC compared to the console counterparts.

However, it was also revealed that the 10-15GB file size is just for the expansion itself, as there will also be a new patch that will be released alongside the new expansion. The developers claim it will be smaller in size compared to the expansion, though they did not share specific details.

Blood and Wine is set to take place in a new region called Toussaint, which appears to be one of the most visually-stunning locations that the Witcher universe has ever seen. The new expansion adds 90 new side quests and 30 new weapons to use, as well as new Gwent cards, enemy mutations and a new map. The developer has previously said that the expansion has over 30 hours of content.

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 31st and costs $19.99. All of the Witcher games are currently being offered at a major discount on GOG, which you can check out for yourself by clicking right here.
