Dozens of cats rescued from Cambria County home
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities with the Cambria County Humane Society say dozens of cats were rescued Monday from a local residence.
Officials say the Humane Society is now taking care of 59 cats involved in the "extreme hoarding" case.
The Humane Society says that the cats have a variety of health concerns and are in need of veterinary care.
Officials are also asking for food and other donations to assist in caring for the animals.
Authorities have not yet provided any further details about where the cats were rescued from and whether or not any charges are being filed.
