Who is the best pet in a horror movie?
Which movie ending just doesn't sit right with you?
I know 'Mystic River' is considered a modern classic by many, and rightfully so. Its all-star cast gave enigmatic performances, and its Academy Award nominations were well deserved. But the ending absolutely broke my heart. While the ending is meant to be heartbreaking – and it definitely did its job – I kept hoping for something to go right for Dave (Tim Robbins) and for the universe to cut him some slack. Unfortunately, we know how that story ends. What movie ending has left you feeling the same way?
3 days agoWhat were the movies you always stopped to watch when they were playing on TV?
Yes, watching movies on TV — be it cable, basic cable, networks, etc. — has been on its way out for a while (though some people still swear by it!) That said, we can all remember — if we're old enough — the movies that stopped you clicking through the channels every single time you saw them, no matter where in the movie the broadcast was. For me, in absolutely no ranking, it was stuff like Pulp Fiction, Ghostbusters, The Godfather, The Three Amigos, Die Hard, Die Hard With a Vengeance, both the Timothy Dalton Bond movies (I was young!), and Ferris Bueller's Day Off - basic cable classics all of them. What about you?

With The Thursday Murder Club now filming, we're soon going to get yet another set of amateur detectives on our screens. Of course, there's been plenty of those on film in the past, both real and amateur, so who's your favorite? Columbo? Poirot? Miss Marple? Let us know!
15 hours agoThe Best Horror Trilogy
This weekend marks the release of 'MaXXXine,' the final film in Ti West's trilogy that also included 'X' and 'Pearl'. With this horror trilogy in mind, what is your favorite horror trilogy, or three-film stretch of a horror franchise? Would it be the first three Evil Dead films? Or possibly the trifecta of Candyman films? I'd personally go with the first three films in the Scream series, as these stories that center around Sidney Prescott form the strongest narrative in one of my favorite horror film franchises.

It's been a big year for cinema's most iconic monster, Godzilla, with more people discovering the outstanding Godzilla Minus One and getting completely swept up in his latest cinematic incarnation. Though not quite as good as something like Shin Godzilla, it still saw the creature smashing to bold new heights. There also is the continued rollout of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, which recently began streaming on Max, but that's mostly just the equivalent of "we have Godzilla Minus One at home." Still, it raises an important question: what is the best Godzilla movie? There are a whole lot to choose from, dating all the way back to the original 1954 Godzilla, but we want to hear only about the best of the best. Make your case below why your movie smashes the competition underfoot.

Women absolutely kill it in the horror genre, but which king do you think deserves the crown? We’ve got the teaser for Bill Skarsgård as Nosferatu, a trailer for Smile 2 with Kyle Gallner reprising his role, and Longlegs is bringing Nicolas Cage back to the genre. Who’s your favorite Scream King? Personally, Gallner and David Dastmalchian are two of my favorites! Not only are they fantastic in every role, but they really seem to be passionate about all things horror. Which one needs more love, or who would you like to see more of in horror (and based on which performance — we need more recs!)?
